Selmer Paris Reference 54 Tenor Saxophone from 2002 in pristine condition! The "antique lacquer" finish is shows very little wear.
The Reference 54 model from Selmer takes its design from the Mark VI model introduced in 1954. It has a very similar sound, and ergonomics, a very centered but flexible tone. From Selmer's description of the Reference 54:
"A saxophone whose main quality is to adapt to all profiles of saxophonists, whatever their style or level. The Reference model goes as far as reproducing the design of some of the keys of the famous Mark VI model, which offers ergonomics made for the largest number of musicians."
