Intonation is excellent. Response is very good. Tone is on the bright side, but that works well for beginning players who don't move a lot of air yet. This finish is slightly warmer and darker sonically than the 50C model. The makers of the Chateau brand are making saxophones in Taiwan for a lot of the major manufacturers and they decided to put out their own brand made in their Vietnamese Factory. Don't let that scare you since the Vietnamese are now making the best students saxophone in the world! This student/intermediate model plays very well and is a VERY low cost for a BRAND NEW student/intermediate model tenor. Comes with case, mouthpiece, ligature, cap and neck strap included so you have everything you need to start except the reeds (we can, of course, supply reeds as well).
