Setting a new standard for the modern soprano saxophone, the Signature represents the latest evolution of more than a century of soprano saxophone craftsmanship and design from Henri SELMER Paris. Evolving from Series III, it combines redesigned necks and significant acoustic improvements to deliver exceptional intonation, a full and round sound, and remarkably consistent response throughout the instrument.

The Signature Soprano provides reliable response in the low and right-hard registers while maintaining exceptional stability in the upper and altissimo registers.  Its carefully balanced intonation from low to high registers, and its colorful, even, and open tone deliver consistency throughout the instrument. 

Supplied with both straight and curved necks, the Signature gives players greater flexibility in playing position and sound.  The new three-point concentric neck receiver provides a secure connection between the neck and the body, while the adjustable nickel-silver tightening ring adds density in this sensitive area.  The Teflon-lined octave mechanism provides smoother, quieter mechanical action.

Adorned with an original Art Deco-style engraving paying homage to the age-old techniques passed down from generation to generation within the Henri Selmer Paris factory since 1919, the Signature soprano is both a traditional saxophone and a beacon of modernity.
