Buffet S1 Alto Saxophone in silver plate #26xxx from 1977. The Buffet S1 may be the best saxophone ever produced by Buffet, with some innovative keywork changes over the previous Super Dynaction model. These have a well deserved reputation for having a rich, complex and refined sound.
This silver plated model plays well on mostly older pads. Keyed to high F# this instrument comes with 3 necks: the original silver plated Buffet neck, an after market silver plated neck and a regular finish Buffet neck.
