Good condition, vintage Brilhart "Streamline" Tonalin tenor, serial number 34,064 in a #4* Facing. Tip and rails are good, but the bite plate has worn down a little, though not through to the mouthpiece material.   This one has a noticeable crack in the shank, but it has been repaired.

 This is a fairly early vintage Brilhart and I rarely see the "Streamline" Tonalin pieces so it is somewhat rare to our shop.

Very good condition, vintage Brilhart, Tonalin tenor serial number 215,565 in a #3* Facing. It's been played a little, but not much.   Bit plate has some minor tooth wear in one area and there is a crack beginning at the base of the table that has not gone through to the end of the shank.  This can be banded if you want to maintain the integrity of this mouthpiece for a very long time.

Excellent condition, vintage Brilhart, Tonalin tenor serial number 132,907 in a #5* Facing. This one looks like it hasn't been played much at all.   The only fault I can find is that the bite plate edges are just starting to come up a bit and the bite plate has minor tooth wear.

Frank Kaspar "Superb" Metal Alto mouthpiece.  I have never seen one of these before!  Mouthpiece says, "Frank L. Kaspar successor to Goldbeck Co. Chicago, IL.  Kaspar is well know for his clarinet mouthpieces.

Two of our player employees, Jack and Hayden, both thought this mouthpiece played exceptionally well, even with the small tip opening.  Someone has done some facing work on this piece which you should be able to see in the pictures.  Tip opening is .050".

Very good condition rare Joray made tenor mouthpiece! The facing is marked as 'M' and the tip measures about .075". This mouthpiece resembles an old Brilhart tonalin on the inside with clarinet-style sidewalls and a fairly straight bafle.

This mouthpiece looks a lot like a vintage Conn Steel-Lay with a different name on it.  Store branding was as common in this era as it is today and this was likely made for a specific store, Naujoks-McLaughlin, in Los Angeles, California.

It has a short shank and metal table rails and tip fused onto the rubber.  The corners of the tip, on the rubber side, are slighlty chipped, but that is irrelevant because of the metal rails on the reed side of the mouthpiece.

I have never had one of these in the shop before.  This Vintage Selmer Hard Rubber Clarinet Mouthpiece is likely from the 30's or 40's with the logo very low on the shank.  The table says "G7" on it, but there appears to be some very small lettered words under that marking that are partially erased, maybe due to someone refacing the piece.   More info below.

Selmer Long Scroll Shank Vintage Hard Rubber Tenor Mouthpiece in a C Facing.  These mouthpieces were made from really good rubber and will work well for a current model Selmer Tenor for Classical work or you can have them refaced to a larger tip for a super jazz mouthpiece.

Vintage, Selmer Paris, solid brass, silver-plated alto mouthpiece with the original Selmer ligature and cap in good condition.  Bite plate has some scratching and there is some plating loss aroud the bite plate.  Tip and rails are good.  

These sell new for over $400 and I know they don't play as well as a vintage model.  The Vintage Models are really good pieces.

These vingtage Berg Larsen hard rubber alto mouthpieces are really great pieces. Vintage Bergs play far better than the new models and are great if you want projection and power without going the "edgy metal mouthpiece" route. 

This one is in really nice condition other than rubber discoloration and some ligatue marks on the top side.  Bite area, tip, rails and table are original and really great.
