The TW010 Tenor has ribbed construction, double connected left hand table keys and a double armed low C key. Finish is lacquered brass, hand engraved with range from Low Bb to High F#.
The silver-plated TW010S has more "meat" to the sound and the black lacquered model is warmer and darker sonically. The TW020, Bronze model, is actually a touch brighter with a bit quicker response as well.
Yanagisawa saxophones are very high quality with outstanding overall response and intonation. Yanagisawa has been making musical instruments for well over 100 years so they are not new to the process of building a quality saxophone. Sound quality is somewhat brighter than other brands, but very good and usable especially in playing situations where you need more presence and some edge to your sound. Every bit as good as a Selmer or Yamaha!
