Sax Alley's Ultimate Thumbhook

If you are tired of that non-adjustable, plastic, POJ (Piece of Junk), right hand thumb hook that came with your instrument, you need to check out our hand-crafted, custom-made, solid brass "Ultimate Thumbhook" (right hand thumb rest) for Selmer, Yamaha and Yanagisawa saxophones. All models are hand-formed, buffed and lacquered in your choice of either clear or gold lacquer. Our product must be good since both Selmer and Yanagisawa have copied it. This product is manufactured entirely in the U.S. and our customers even tell us it makes the instrument respond better!

Both the SA-102 (Selmer) and SA-103 (Yanagisawa) have been improved so the thumbhook can be adjusted both side to side and up and down. The SA-104 (Yamaha) is a brass version of the current plastic Yamaha thumbhook.

Retail price on this item is $40 (U.S.) per unit plus $4 shipping (shipping costs are higher outside the U.S. and Canada). Blanks of all models are in stock and any small order will be shipped out within 2 weeks.

This is our only product currently in production but we have others to be released as they are developed.

I did receive your custom-thumb hook on Saturday. I admired the quality and craftmanship on such a small part. Do you always give it your all? I slapped it on and noticed right away the change. I want to thank you for the quality and comfort that your Ultimate Thumbhook offers. I ordered one for my Yanagisawa 901 Alto Saxophone and couldn't be more pleased! It sure beats the plastic p.o.j. that came with the instrument. It is very comfortable, partly due to the the fact that the heavy gauge metal (brass) doesn't cut into my thumb on the hook's edges. And it may be my imagination, but I think my sax sounds slightly "edgier" than it did with the factory plastic hook. My friends that have saxes that came with a metal hook are surprised because the quality of my Ultimate Thumbhook is far better than the thin gauge metal hooks that came on their top of the line instruments that cost much more than my Yani.
