Selmer Mark VI Tenor Saxophone # 56,xxx - Nice condition re-lacquer! (MAY BE SOLD)

Very good condition, mid 50's, Vintage Mark VI Tenor saxophone, #56,xxx, re-lacquered in 70's color Selmer lacquer.  Mechanically this horn is solid with the original serial numbered neck.  The re-lacquering was well done with engraving that is still quite sharp including being able to see many of the fine lines in the engraving.  If this tenor were in this condition in original lacquer, you would paying nearly $10,000 for it so this a good savings on a tenor that will still play well.

There are small dents on the horn here and there, not not a lot of them, including one on the neck.  Neck has had a slight pull down, but we have brought it back up to where it should be.  Two feet of the Low Eb Guard were re-soldered and one on the Low C Guard.

Pads are older and moderately water stained, but the leather is still mostly soft and we can get this horn to work well by replacing any pads that are no usuable and putting our Sax Alley $130  "Complete Adjustment" into it will play the best it can before your purchase!

We would highly recommend our "Complete Mechanical Restoration" on this one.  You can include that by clicking on the "Repair Option" when you purchase.  That is normally a $1050 job and we'll include it for $100 off.  This work includes all new pads, all new corks and felts, tightening all keys between posts, complete cleaning and leveling tone holes (we do not file tone holes!).

Comes with Hiscox Pro II Tenor Case.
