Bob  Carpenter does refacing work for many people, most noticeably, Doug Lawrence, lead tenor with the Count Basie Big Band. Bob's facing work is excellent and his addition of a baffle in the chamber makes this mouthpiece respond quicker and more easily and it plays without the "tubby" quality these mouthpieces have out of the box.  

A mouthpiece with this kind of work will be much easier to play and generally sound better than most any stock Otto Link you can purchase.  It will also make the mouthpiece slightly brighter in quality.
