This is the Otto Link Super Tone Master in an #8 facing with original ligature, cap, and box. This is still one of the standard mouthpieces for jazz tenor players. 

Bob Carpenter refaced this mouthpiece, made the facing curve accurate, and put his baffle inside which makes the mouthpiece less "tubby" and respond more quickly.  This is what Bob does for Doug Lawrence's (lead tenor with the Basie Band) Link pieces and the difference is quite dramatic.

This piece is in good condition with excellent tip and rails and almost no wear on the bite plate. There is some discoloration of the brass under where the ligature sits, but this does not effect the way it plays.

Comes with original Ligature and Cap.
