Brilhart Vintage Ebolin Alto Mouthpiece #3*, Great Neck New York Model - Used

Good condition, Vintage Brilhart Ebolin alto in a #3* Facing. This is an early "Great Neck New York" model, Serial #16,446.  There is a chip out of the tip and rails are very lightly nicked (not enough to cause a reed seal problem). The bite plate is lightly scratched and there is the beginning of crack in the shank.  Banding the shank would keep it from doing any serious cracking.

The 3* facing was more like a 5* in Brilhart's way of making mouthpieces.

No cap or ligature included.  Call or email if you think you want this and we will find some ligatures that will fit.

Vintage Buffet "V" hard rubber soprano mouthpiece made in France by Chedvile, considered to be one of the great mouthpiece makers.

Condition is excellent with a short shank, mildly hollowed out side walls and a round chamber.  Tip is fairly thick so it could be opened up since the tip looks pretty closed.

H. Couf Artist Hard Rubber Tenor Mouthpiece #5*R - Used in excellent condition, refaced by James Bunte to .100" Tip!

We don't know much about this mouthpiece except that it was manufactured for Herbert Couf, probably in the 70's, is an "Artist" model in a 5*R facing that was refaced to a .100" tip by James Bunte.  External diameter is smaller so it will probably need an alto ligature instead of a standard size tenor ligature. (Herbert Couf had his own line of saxophones as well, made by Keilwerth and they play extremely well.)

Naujoks-McLaughlin 'Sil-Va-Lay' #3 Vintage Hard Rubber Alto Mouthpiece with ligature and cap - Used

This mouthpiece looks a lot like a vintage Conn Steel-Lay with a different name on it.  Store branding was as common in this era as it is today and this was likely made for a specific store, Naujoks-McLaughlin, in Los Angeles, California.
