Martin (The Martin), Committee III Model Tenor Saxophone #150,195 - Beautiful!

Beautiful "The Martin" Committee III Tenor saxophone, #150,195.

This is the model alto that Art Pepper played on many of his famous 50's and 60's recordings when he had his characteristic sound.

Completely re-done, 1945 Martin tenor.  Looks like it is a re-lacquer since the color is a bit darker than they would have used, but condition is absolutely fantastic and pads appear to be the red, painted pads that Emilio would have used, although there's no indication that it was his work.

Martin featured their adjustable right hand thumb rest, floral engraving, art deco key guards and soldered on tone holes.  These are really nice sounding altos and play very well.

If you want a piece of American Musical lnstrument history, this is certainly one of the horns you should be looking at.

We will include our Sax Alley $170 "Complete Adjustment" with this alto so it will play as well as it looks.  Comes with the original Martin Tenor Case.

Shipping cost is extra and dependent on destination.
