Larry Combs played with New Orleans Symphony Orchestra, the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, and the Santa Fe Opera before joining the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in 1974. He was appointed principal clarinet of the CSO by Sir Georg Solti in 1978.
He put his name on this mouthpiece made by Woodwind Company. Many say it's a good production piece and will work reasonably well if you aren't a professional player.
This mouthpiece is in great condition with only minor teeth marks on the bite area. Tip, rails and facing looks perfect, although the rubber is somewhat discolored.
No ligature or cap included. We have the Vandoren Optimum, M/O and Francois Louis Pure Brass ligatures, normally in stock, so click on the "Ligature Option" if you would like to include one of those with this mouthpiece.
