Eastman 52nd Street Professional Tenor Saxophone #11530420 (SOLD)

The Eastman "52nd Street" model with rolled tone holes is a great playing tenor with a cool, hand engraved 52nd Street scene on the bell, designed by world reknowned engraver, Jason DuMars, and is a great playing instrument.

This is their jazz tenor with soldered on, rolled tone holes.  The sound quality is warm and highly resonant due to the rolled tone holes and that it is an un-lacquered brass.

This is the tenor that Bob Mintzer is now playing and endorising so if you haven't played one of these, do so now!  You won't be disappointed!!  Check out Bob playing the 52nd Street Tenor in this YouTube video:

Other endorsers include Bennie Maupin (, Steve Watts (, Gary Bias ( and Kirk Tracy (

This one is in very good condition, set-up by us, and sold to the original owner who now is focusing on basoon only at this stage in his life. We will include the Sax Alley "Complete Adjustment" in with the price so it will play well when you receive it.

Comes with the original case.

(The new Phil-Tone "Mosaic" metal tenor mouthpiece works particularly well with this tenor.  If you would like one added to your order click on the "Mouthpiece Option" button on the order form.)
